About Sendwit

Which companies do you work for?
For brands from 400 orders a month that sell to retailers, shops and consumers, or that supply spare parts and service. If you grow, we grow with you.
Which products don't you accept?
Food and drink, chilled or frozen products, large furniture, very heavy goods and dangerous goods.
How are you different from a large fulfilment centre?
You have one dedicated contact person with a name and mobile number, who replies within 4 working hours. We ship parcels and pallets from one stock, and we only take on new customers if we can serve them well, including during peak periods.
Which languages can I use with you?
Dutch, French and English.
Can I visit?
Gladly. A visit to the warehouse is the best way to see how we work.

Getting started with Sendwit

How long does it take to get started?
On average 1 to 2 weeks, from the first introduction to the first shipped order.
How does onboarding work?
Day 1–2: introduction, proposal and agreements recorded in a customer file. Day 3–5: setting up and testing the integrations. Then you deliver your stock and we book it in within 1 working day. You go live the day after, with daily follow-up during the first two weeks. After a month we review together what's going well and what needs to improve.
Which systems can you integrate with?
With your webshop, marketplaces and ERP, including Shopify, WooCommerce, Lightspeed and bol. With retailers we exchange messages via EDI.
Do I have to forward orders myself?
No. Once integrated, orders from your webshop, marketplace or ERP come in automatically.
Can I start with just my webshop?
Yes. Many customers start with one channel and add retail as soon as they're listed.

Stock and orders

How quickly is my stock available for sale?
We count your delivery and book it in within 1 working day. If the quantities don't match, you get a report with photos the same day.
What's the latest time I can send orders?
Orders received before 18:00 ship the same working day.
What about orders after the cut-off?
Orders received after 18:00 ship the next working day.
How do I track my stock and orders?
In your customer portal you can see your stock, orders and returns. You get a daily shipping overview and a report every month. If something goes wrong, you hear it from us before your customer notices.
Do you also ship pallets to retailers?
Yes. We build pallets to your retailer's requirements, with GS1 labels and a unique pallet number (SSCC), send an advance despatch advice via EDI and book the time slot at the distribution centre.
Do I need my own EDI?
No. We handle the electronic messages with your retailer through our EDI partner.

Spare parts and service

How many items can you handle?
From a few hundred to thousands of SKUs. We charge storage per location, so you don't pay for a full pallet per item.
Do urgent orders for technicians get priority?
Yes. Urgent orders for technicians go first, and orders before 18:00 ship the same working day.
Can you track serial numbers?
Yes, for items where that's needed, such as swap units and warranty parts.
What about slow movers?
We report them every month, so you can decide what to keep, sell off or write off.

Shipping

Which carriers do you work with?
bpost, PostNL, DHL, DPD, GLS, FedEx and Colis Privé for parcels, and a regular pallet carrier for pallets. We choose together with you what fits.
Can I choose the carrier myself?
We choose together with you what fits. After that we never change your carrier without your approval.
Do you deliver outside Belgium?
Yes, we ship to the whole of Europe, including the Netherlands and France.
What if a shipment is damaged or lost?
We file the claim with the carrier and follow it up. You don't have to chase the carrier yourself.
What if an order doesn't ship on time?
You hear it from us before your customer notices, with the reason and the solution.

Returns and mistakes

How do you handle returns?
Every return is checked, registered and reported to you within 3 working days.
What if you make a mistake?
We fix a wrong item, a forgotten order or the wrong packaging at our own cost.
What if a retailer refuses a delivery?
We work out together what went wrong. If the mistake was ours, we take responsibility in line with the agreements in your contract.

Pricing and contract

How is the price made up?
You pay for storage per location per month, per order and order line, per return and a one-off fee per integration. Extra work is charged per hour or per piece. Shipping is at our rates and listed separately on the invoice.
What is always included?
Booking in your stock, your dedicated contact person, the customer portal and monthly report, standard packaging material and following up carrier claims.
Are there hidden costs?
No. You get a fixed price list and a monthly invoice itemised per order. No surcharges that aren't in your quote.
How quickly do I get a price proposal?
Tell us what you ship and to whom. You'll have a price proposal within 3 working days.
Am I tied to a long contract?
No. Your contract can be cancelled monthly with 1 month notice, with no minimum term or exit fee.
What if I want to leave?
You get your data straight away as an export. Your stock is ready for collection within 10 working days. You know the final invoice in advance.
