Privacy statement

Dewit, Senne ("Sendwit", "we") values your privacy. In this statement you can read which personal data we process, why we do so and what rights you have. We process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Which data do we process?

• Through the price quote form: your name, email address, phone number, website, your number of orders per month, your number of items (SKUs), the average size of your products and the reason for your request.
• Through the question form: your name, email address, company (optional) and your question.
• If you email or call us: your name, contact details and what you tell us.
• If you are a customer: your employees' contact details and the data needed to process and invoice your orders.

Why do we process your data?

• To answer your question or send you a price proposal. We do this at your request, before we enter into an agreement.
• To perform our agreement with you: processing orders, invoicing and communicating with you.
• To comply with legal obligations, such as keeping invoices.
• To improve our services and keep our website secure, based on our legitimate interest.

We never sell your data and do not use it for other companies' advertising.

Your customers' data

When we ship orders for you, we also process your customers' data, such as name and delivery address. We do so as a processor, on your instructions and only to deliver your orders. The arrangements for this are set out in a data processing agreement.

Who do we share your data with?

• Our hosting provider (Vercel), where the website runs.
• Google, via Google Tag Manager and, only with your consent, Google Analytics and Google Ads. If you request a quote and have allowed marketing cookies, we send your email address and phone number to Google Ads in encrypted (hashed) form, so we can measure which ads lead to a request. Google cannot read your details from this. More in our cookie policy.
• Carriers, only the data needed to deliver a shipment.
• Our accountant and IT suppliers, where needed for their work.
• Authorities, if the law requires us to.

We make agreements with all these parties so that they use your data securely and only for that purpose.

How long do we keep your data?

• Questions and price requests: 2 years after our last contact, unless you become a customer.
• Customer data: for as long as you are a customer, and after that for as long as the law requires (e.g. 7 years for invoices).

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict processing, to object and to data portability. To do so, send an email to senne@sendwit.be. We reply within one month.

Not happy with how we handle your data? You can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (www.dataprotectionauthority.be).
