What is technical fulfilment?
Technical fulfilment, also called spare parts logistics, is the storage and shipping of spare parts, accessories and swap units. The customers are usually technicians, dealers and installers who are waiting for a part to finish a repair.
The difference from regular fulfilment: many different SKUs in small quantities, urgent orders that really are urgent, and a return flow of faulty parts and warranty cases. Read more in what is technical fulfilment?
How technical fulfilment works at Sendwit
Sendwit becomes your parts warehouse. Every item gets its own location, orders from technicians and dealers come in automatically, and urgent orders go first. Faulty returns and warranty parts are registered and reported to you.
Here's how it works, step by step.

Step 1
A fixed location for every part
We store your parts in bins, on shelves and on pallets, every item in its own location. That way we find even the smallest part straight away.
We charge storage per location, so you don't pay for a full pallet per item.

Step 2
Urgent orders to the technician
Orders placed before 18:00 ship the same working day, and urgent orders for technicians get priority. So a repair is more often done in a single visit.
Why that makes such a difference is explained in why your technicians are waiting for parts.

Step 3
Serial numbers and warranty
For items where it's needed, such as swap units and warranty parts, we track serial numbers. So you always know which unit went where.
We assemble service kits and sets, charged per hour or per piece.

Step 4
Returns and slow movers
Every return is registered and reported to you within 3 working days: back into stock, set aside or ready for repair.
We report slow movers every month, so you can decide what to keep, sell off or write off.

Storage per location, not per pallet
